Andrew Wall, creator of CORPO
I’m making the game I wish existed.

I’m Andrew Wall, the solo indie creator behind CORPO. I want to make a game where understanding business gives you more choices. Where hiring the right person matters, an asset needs somebody to make it useful, and independence is something you have to think about.
I also want a world worth spending time in, with people who have their own motives and machines that can refuse a job. AI helps me take on more of that work myself.
I’ve already spent a thousand hours developing this world, and it’s been fascinating. I work on CORPO during breaks in my workday, at night and on weekends. It’s usually what I’m thinking about in my free time, too.

Why I’m making CORPO
I love the possibilities of science fiction, and I wanted business to have a real place in that world. Somebody has to keep the water running. Somebody has to repair the equipment and work out how to pay the people doing it. Those decisions can make a good game.
Business can give people independence. It can also concentrate power in ways that take independence away. I want CORPO to make room for that tension. The people rebuilding after the Turning need each other, even when they disagree about who should be in charge.
I wish I’d understood more about business earlier in my own life. With CORPO, I want players to get interested through the choices they make and the consequences they see. The game still has to be fun. If a lesson needs a lecture to make it interesting, I have more work to do.
I choose to spend my time creating. These days, I’d rather work on CORPO than watch Netflix, play Call of Duty or scroll. I don’t use social media anymore. Learning a new tool and making something with it is what I find most engaging.
“I believe in a world of industry. I believe in a world of innovation.”

The work I bring with me
My background is in gaming, media and helping other people create. I led TGN and business development, then spent five years at BroadbandTV working across community, gaming, network development and production. I founded AWALL Digital in 2018 while I was still employed there.
Through AWALL Digital, I coached creators and advised businesses on their media and growth. I’ve also worked in financial media and built businesses of my own.
One of those lessons was very personal. I had my own consultancy, my own website and customers paying me for my work. Then I ran out of hours. Having a company didn’t automatically mean I’d built something that could work without me. That experience is part of why I care about understanding the systems behind a business.
“Why am I spending my time doing this? Because I freaking wish when I was 20 or when I was 30, somebody told me all of this. It would have changed my life.”
Building it with AI
I use ChatGPT and Claude to help think through the work, and Lovable to build and deploy the game. Suno is part of making the soundtrack. I use ElevenLabs for sound effects.
I still have to decide what belongs in CORPO. A picture can look impressive and get the character wrong. A sound can be good on its own and become irritating when a button repeats it. A screen can look finished and be awkward to use on a phone.
So I keep going back through the work. I compare versions, make corrections and check things in context. I want Making CORPO to show what that work involves. Learning new technology, figuring out software and creating something with it makes me deeply happy.
“the most engaging thing for me as a person is to learn new technologies, learn new software, learn new tools, and to create.”
Creating the lore
Making the CORPO soundtrack with Suno
Giving CORPO its sound effects with ElevenLabs A game with a world around it
CORPO brings together business strategy and a world recovering from the Turning. The wiki gives that world room to breathe. You can follow the history, get to know the people and machines, or find out why a particular place matters.
My aim is for the game to make ideas like managing assets, hiring people and weighing an opportunity feel understandable through play. I want you to care about what you’re building and who you’re building it with. That’s the kind of experience I’m working toward.

Help me keep building
I’m making CORPO because I want more people to understand business and feel capable of creating something of their own. I want that to come through a game you actually want to play.
I’m one person building this game and its universe. If you choose to support CORPO, you’re helping me keep doing that work, from the story and soundtrack to the next thing that needs fixing.
You don’t have to pay to be part of it. Spending time with the game, reading the world and sharing it with someone who might enjoy it all help. Thank you for giving something I’m making a bit of your time.
