The Redress S3 is a shotgun carried by Corpos for close-range defense around the city's buildings and installations. Three copper bands and an ivory buttplate identify the model. It is larger than the Surety P1 and travels on a carrying system suited to that size. The owner may be protecting a loading platform, workshop or other place that keeps valuable equipment running.
Corpos choose equipment according to their work and what they can maintain. A corporation can help provide a familiar weapon and arrange service, but it still depends on available stock and people qualified to assess the condition of recovered equipment.
The S3 appears around installations such as Cold Store, where damaging the refrigeration can ruin more than the machinery itself. Its role is to stop an immediate threat while other people protect goods and leave the damaged area. City restrictions on full-auto fire and responsibility for nearby people and property apply across the equipment carried there. The weapon's size does not remove those obligations.
