The Keelmark K1 is a working river boat used for local fishing, deliveries and suitable recovery loads. Its broad dark hull and small ivory wheelhouse at the stern provide a clear working deck. It gives the city access to places that may be difficult to reach by damaged roads. A usable landing and safe handling space are still needed at either end.
River transport can connect installations, traders and recovery sites without relying on every road crossing. It also depends on water conditions, maintained equipment and people who understand the route. A boat cannot deliver its advantage if the destination has nowhere to unload.
Food handling remains separate from dirty gear and general salvage. Insulated fish boxes keep a catch contained as it moves toward storage, while heavier material needs appropriate support. The Keelmark is part of the city's local transport economy rather than a source of unlimited access. Its crew still chooses loads and trips that the vessel and landing can accommodate.
