Strike Teams are temporary groups formed for work one Lancer cannot safely or effectively complete alone. Corporations commonly organize the contract and arrange the equipment or transport. Lancers can accept the shared objective without becoming permanent corporate staff. Recovering heavy machinery, dealing with servos and protecting a route are all reasons to bring several people together.
A team can combine route knowledge, equipment expertise and handling capacity. The client needs a result, while each participant needs terms that justify the time and risk. A specialist may identify whether a recovered motor will fit the asset waiting in the city before anyone spends the effort to move it.
The waterworks recovery shown here needs a supported trolley and a truck capable of taking the load. Weather and access affect the time available. An independent synth joins the job for its own reasons under the same principle of voluntary participation. The contract coordinates the work and determines how its return is shared.
