Divinity's operatives entered the military communications facility to install the Servo Virus directly into its control hardware. Remote access alone was not enough for their plan. They brought a physical drive, reached the control panel and transferred the malicious code. The intended delay was supposed to let them leave before the servos began destroying the base.

The target was a communications facility with access to the network Divinity wanted to disrupt. Its servos were part of the same connected system used elsewhere in the Old World. Installing the virus there gave the order a route beyond the room where the operatives stood.

The group treated physical entry as the difficult part of the operation. Getting inside did not mean they could control what happened afterward. Once the code reached the shared system, the operatives had no reliable way to limit every copy or every machine receiving it. The delay failed before they completed their escape.
