The Stillpoint T1 is a recovery kit built around physical restraint and a separate temporary disruption unit. Its padded orange sled supports a disabled servo for transport. The pulse can interrupt an old control system for up to ten seconds, but that effect ends. Lancers bring the kit when preserving a complete machine could justify the extra weight and work.
The restraints and the disruption unit have different jobs. One limits movement; the other provides a brief interruption. Neither removes the broadcast assembly or makes the robot an independent synth. A completed Latch L1 shutdown can hold beyond the pulse, with isolation and transport restraints retained until assessment.
The kit consumes space that could otherwise carry supplies or another load. A crew needs a vehicle, a usable route and enough help to move it. Those costs affect which recoveries make sense. Intact recovery can pay substantially more, but taking extra equipment does not guarantee a suitable machine or a successful return.
