Agricultural servos handled repeated work around growing trays, crops and harvest containers. Supported trays let the common civilian body move planting stock without gripping the plants themselves. These units worked alongside human growers in the Old World. Recovered examples can supply useful frames and equipment for the city's farms after assessment and conversion.
Handling matters because the tray and the plants need different kinds of support. A servo can move a rigid container by its edge while a grower examines the root stock inside it. Racks keep several trays supported during repeated work, and suitable contact surfaces reduce damage to the containers.
The robot is only one part of the farm. Crops still need seed, water and a route into storage, and the machine needs power and maintenance. In the New Order, an independent synth can choose agricultural work using recovered tools. An unconverted agricultural servo remains an electrical hazard regardless of the harmless job it once performed.
