Security servos used the shared humanoid platform with protective equipment and weapon mounts suited to guard work. Businesses and governments deployed them around buildings, routes and controlled facilities. Their presence reduced the need to put human staff in some dangerous situations. Governments also used them to suppress dissent, making the platform part of the political anger that Divinity exploited.

The security configuration could change its equipment without becoming a different underlying civilian frame. Protective covers, shields and carried or mounted weapons gave it capabilities ordinary service jobs didn't require. It still depended on the network-control system for remote instructions and updates.

During the Turning, security units fired at other servos and damaged powered equipment. Their weapons made the electrical-target order destructive beyond arm's reach. An independent synth recovered from one of these frames can choose security work in the city, but local operation and removal of the broadcast hardware are part of that conversion.
